<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope hood capable of directly measuring pressure in a lumen of the gastrointestinal tract and the abdominal cavity, a pressure sensor for endoscopes suited for measuring the pressure in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract and the abdominal cavity, and an endoscope including the pressure sensor for endoscopes.SOLUTION: An endoscope hood 1 to be mounted on a distal end of a shaft S of an endoscope comprises: a cylindrical body part 2, axial both end of which are opened; and a pressure sensor mounted on the body part 2. When the body part 2 is mounted on the distal end of the shaft S, the body part 2, along with the shaft S, can be inserted into the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract or the like such that the pressure sensor 5 can be disposed in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract or the like. Thereby, the pressure in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract or the like can be directly measured by the pressure sensor. Consequently, on the basis of the pressure in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract or the like measured by the pressure sensor 5, an amount of carbon dioxide gas to be supplied inside the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract or the like is adjusted so as to prevent an excessive air supply state.</p> |
