<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide digital image half-tone conversion having selective enhancement.SOLUTION: A method of the invention includes: receiving a first image as a continuous-tone image; screening the image to render a second image as an HTI (halftone image); selecting a certain region of the first image for the enhancement; and processing the selected region of the first image in sequential repetition so as to render a third image as a multi-bit HTI.</p> |
