<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact steering device for a vehicle capable of regulating a rotation angle of a steering member operated in multi-rotation. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation regulating mechanism 21 has a plurality of plate elements 71-75 rotatable relative to an output shaft 24 and movable in the axial direction X1 by being coaxially supported by the output shaft 24, between a rotatable element (a second part 66 of a rotor core 63) coaxially integrally rotatable with the output shaft 24 of a steering shaft 9 and a rotation impossible element (an end wall 32 of a housing). A relative rotation quantity between the adjacent elements is regulated by a projection 81 and regulating parts on both ends of engaging grooves 82 and 83. An axial directional movement regulating element 701 is arranged for regulating a moving distance in the axial direction X1 of the plate elements 71-75 to a predetermined quantity or less so as to restrain an inclination of the axis of the plate elements 71-75 to the axis L1 of the output shaft 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
