The present invention relates to a solar battery having improved visibility to be applicable to a window of a building or a view window of a transportation means such as a vehicle or the like while improving photoelectric conversion efficiency, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the solar battery comprises: a transparent substrate; a transparent electrode formed on one side of the transparent substrate; a plurality of solar battery cells including a first electrode formed on the transparent electrode, a photoelectric conversion portion formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode formed on the photoelectric conversion portion; and a separation portion arranged between the neighboring solar battery cells, wherein the separation portion exposes the transparent electrode to incident sunlight.
