The present invention relates to an infant carrier which is configured to transfer the weight of an infant to the waist and pelvis of a guardian and, more specifically, to a hip seat base for an infant carrier which is made so as not to cause bending deformation of the legs of an infant when the infant is seated or placed on the hip seat base for an infant carrier. The hip seat base for an infant carrier comprises: a belt which is formed with a predetermined width and is worn on the waist of a guardian; and a hip seat which includes a container protruding forward from an attachment portion of the belt and having leg seating grooves inclined downward from the upside on both sides between the belt attachment portion and a front portion, a seat base made in the same shape as the shape of the container and put therein, and a seat cover coupled to the upper portion of the container to be covered, and is attached to any one portion of the outside of the belt. |
