PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage preparation device for agitating powder or liquid which achieves efficient agitation of powder and generation of fine bubbles.SOLUTION: A beverage preparation device 1 for preparing beverage using liquid and powder includes: an agitation unit 500 including an agitation blade 550 for agitating liquid and powder and an agitation tank 510 in which the agitation blade 550 is stored; an agitation blade driving unit 140 for rotatably driving the agitation blade 550; and a controller for controlling the agitation blade driving unit 140. The agitation blade 550 includes a rotational center shaft around which a plurality of blades 220 are provided. The controller controls the agitation blade driving unit 140 so as to switch the normal and reverse rotation of the agitation blade.
