<p>A detachable sound pickup and amplification system for flute and other musical instruments of the woodwind family (bamboo flute, bagpipes, side-blown flutes, flageolet, kaval, ney, etc.), which can be easily detached from the instrument by the musician him-/herself. The complete system (Figure 1) includes one or more microphone heads (Figure 2) mounted on the instrument and an outer preamplifier (11) (Figure 1), where preamplification, mixing and final processing of the microphone signal take place. The system presents high resistance to audio feedback, it does not reproduce nor amplify noises from the instrument itself (10) (e.g. from key's strokes, etc.), providing the musician with freedom of movement on stage, and simultaneously, it can be connected directly to pedals, effects units, mixing consoles, a Direct Inject box, etc.</p> |
