<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for managing getting on/off a public transportation and a method thereof. The apparatus includes: a getting on/off information generation part which judges whether personal identification information received from a recognizing part recognizing the personal identification information from an identification unit carried by a passenger is registered in a server and then generates getting on/off information of the passenger on the basis of the judgment result and then transmits the information to the server in order for the server to store the information, when the passenger gets on or off a public transportation facility; and an alarm part which transmits the getting on/off information of the passenger to a previously established protector terminal of the passenger.</p> |
