PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device that can improve durability of a shock-absorbing member for suppressing shock sound when a fastening rod is abutted on an end part of a groove for telescopic adjustment at an adjustment end of a telescopic position of a steering wheel, suppressing rubbing sound between metals, and obtaining consistent telescopic clamping force.SOLUTION: When a fastening rod 5 reaches a telescopic position adjustment end on a vehicle body rear side, abutting surfaces 77A and 77B on the vehicle body rear side of a shock-absorbing member 7 are abutted on a bent part 64B on the vehicle body rear side before an outer circumferential surface of the fastening rod 5 is abutted on the vehicle body rear end of long grooves 63A and 63B for telescopic adjustment. Thus, shock sound at the telescopic position adjustment end on the vehicle body rear side can be suppressed. |
