<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material which is excellent in water resistance enough for application also for external coating while fully utilizing the advantages of a gypsum board, is excellent in bending strength after immersion or after heating and besides having a high impact resistance and to provide a method for the production of the same. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided (1) a building composition containing calcined plaster andγ-2CaO.SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, (2) the building composition of (1) containing 10-90 pts.mass calcined plaster and 10-90 pts.massγ-2CaO.SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and (3) a method for producing a carbonated building material comprising milling the building material of (1) or (2) with water, molding the mixture, and subjecting the molding to carbonation curing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
