<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve draining performance of a fuel cell by discharging generated water within an anode gas flow passage without deterioration of power generating performance. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system (1) configured to generate power by a fuel cell (20) including an anode electrode (200b) on one surface of an electrolyte film (200a) and a cathode electrode (200c) on the other surface includes: fuel gas passages (31 and 33) for carrying a fuel gas containing hydrogen supplied from a hydrogen supply means (30) and an inert gas mixed from the cathode electrode (200c) to the anode electrode (200b); a fuel gas discharge amount-adjusting means (36) which adjusts the amount of fuel gas to be discharged from the fuel gas passages (31 and 33) to the outside of the system; and a gas density control means (S2 and S3) which adjusts the gas density in the anode electrode (200b) by adjusting the amount of fuel gas to be discharged from the fuel gas passages (31 and 33) to the outside of the system according to the operation state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
