PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the temperature control of a display element using liquid crystal with much higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A projection device is configured to detect a first temperature of a heat radiation member for radiating heat generated in a display element which modulates and emits light radiated from a light source and a second temperature of the environment of the display element. The projection device is configured to acquire a first thermal resistance between the heat radiation member and the environment, and to calculate a third temperature of the display element by using the first temperature, the second temperature and the first thermal resistance, and to control the strength of an air flow generated by an air flow generation part with respect to the heat radiation member by using the calculated third temperature. |
