A storage battery device provided at a facility of a customer includes a communication unit for communicating with an external device-control apparatus through a predetermined communication protocol and a control unit for performing a load-tracking discharge to adjust power to be discharged according to power consumption of a load provided at the facility of the customer. The communication unit receives from the device-control apparatus a setting request to set a maximum discharge value for the load-tracking discharge, and the control unit performs the load-tracking discharge on the basis of the setting request so that the power to be discharged is equal to or less than the maximum discharge value.
