The present invention prevents fine powders including fibers from being released to the outside of a housing section. This sheet production device is equipped with: a drum section in which a material containing at least fibers passes through a plurality of openings; a transport section for accumulating the material which has passed through the drum section in the air as a web, and transporting the web; a housing section for covering the drum section, contacting the web on the downstream side thereof in the web transport direction, and contacting the transport section on the upstream side in the web transport direction relative to the section contacting on the downstream side; and a molding section for molding the sheet by using the web. |
