PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which downsizing, simplification and handleability of the entire system are improved, and to construct a fuel cell system capable of being applied to a compact electronic apparatus such as a portable type apparatus.SOLUTION: The biofuel cell using a gel structure includes: a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 which are opposed via a substance having ion conductivity; and a fuel gel 11 in which fuel is encapsulated in a support body having gel structure, in which the support body is a substance distinct from the fuel and at least a part of any one or both of the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22 includes a biocatalyst. |
