PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of reducing effects by the resistance on a common potential supplied to a common signal line. ! SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has a TFT base plate 10 which includes of plural pixel electrodes and a common electrode 930 formed thereon. A GAL layer 100 includes a gate signal line 110. A CMT layer 300 includes a common signal line 310 and a common signal bus line 320. An SDL layer 200 has a data signal line 210. At least one of the GAL layer 100 and the SDL layer 200 has common potential bus lines 130 and 220 and further has interlayer connections 600 and 800 each connecting the common signal bus line 320 and the common potential bus lines 130 and 220 to each other. !
