<p>Electronic device 1100, e.g. a tablet computer, has a display overlaid by an outer protective layer 1106 and a magnetic element. A cover 1300 for the device has a single piece flap comprising a first magnetic element 1326 in a first portion 1304 and a magnetic element 1324 in a second portion 1310 opposite to the first portion. The second portion is also pivotably attachable to the tablet. The magnetic element in the tablet and first magnetic element in the cover form a magnetic circuit through the outside protective layer 1106 to attach the flap to the outer layer. The cover forms a structure for supporting the tablet in an operational orientation when the flap is folded such that the first magnet 1326 and the magnetic element 1324 form a magnetic circuit. Magnetic sensor 118 detects when the flap is in contact to the layer and present visual content accordingly.</p> |
