The present invention relates to a cleaning robot having a body having a driving device. The cleaning robot comprises: a suction motor; a dust collecting unit communicated with the suction motor; a suction passage, wherein a suction inlet is formed in the bottom surface of the body and a suction outlet is connected with the dust collecting unit, formed inside the body. The cleaning robot is capable of reducing a size of the suction inlet and removing a configuration such as a blade or a brush physically sweeping foreign substances so as to provide advantageous effects to be easily maintained and perform stable driving.
