<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system to monitor groundwater with a sinkhole detection function comprises: a winch arranged on an upper part of an underground water tubular well to wind or unwind a cable inserted into the tubular well; and a first sensor assembly attached to an end of the cable including a first elastic wave transmitter to generate an elastic wave, and a first elastic wave receiver to receive the elastic wave. The first sensor assembly is stopped on each predetermined longitudinal interval of a cable when being lifted or lowered by a winch within the tubular well. Moreover, in a stop state, the first elastic wave transmitter transmits an elastic wave and the first elastic wave receiver receives a reflected wave and/or a refracted wave of the transmitted elastic wave.</p> |
