PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide imagers and methods for improving performance such as the dynamic range and the SNR of a camera using small pixels for use in a mobile camera or the like.SOLUTION: A first imager having first imaging characteristics and a second imager having second imaging characteristics are fabricated on a substrate. Images generated by the plurality of imagers are processed to obtain an enhanced image compared to images captured by normal imagers. Each imager are configured with an optical element fabricated using a wafer level optics (WLO) technology.
