VINYLIDENE FLUORIDE-BASED POLYMER AQUEOUS COMPOSITION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinylidene fluoride-based polymer aqueous composition which makes possible to offer a mixture for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries superior in the bonding strength with a collector.SOLUTION: A vinylidene fluoride-based polymer aqueous composition comprises: a vinylidene fluoride-based polymer; and water. A scattering intensity distribution of the vinylidene fluoride-based polymer obtained by dynamic light scattering is a multi-peak one. The vinylidene fluoride-based polymer includes a component (Component A) having a particle size of 1 μm or smaller in the scattering intensity distribution, and a component (Component B) having a particle size of over 1 μm. The component A has an average particle size (D50) of 0.02-0.5 μm; the component B has an average particle size (D50) of 1.1-50 μm; and on condition that the particle sizes are in a range of 1.0-1000.0 nm, an integrated value of frequencies in the scattering intensity distribution is in a range of 70.0-98.7%.
