PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of slidably arranging a lock arm and downsizing a housing. ! SOLUTION: Disclosed is a connector 1 which includes: a housing 5 to which a mating housing 3 can be fitted; and a lock arm 13 which is slidably provided in this housing 5, in which an engaging part 9 capable of being engaged with a part 7 to be engaged of the mating housing 3 is provided on one end side, and in which an operation part 11 for getting the engaging part 9 retained by or released from the part 7 to be engaged is provided on the other end side by sliding operation through depression. The lock arm 13 includes: joint parts 15 which are provided on both side surface sides in the direction intersecting with the sliding direction and which make the lock arm 13 flexibly joined to the housing 5; and a fulcrum part 17 which abuts on the housing 5 and flexibly supports the lock arm 13 on the housing 5. !
