<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a reductase having excellent thermostability in order to shorten the reaction time and to improve reaction efficiency in a reduction reaction with an industrial useful reductase so as to produce an optically active compound, an intermediate thereof, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The reductase includes the same amino acid sequence as an amino acid sequence represented by a sequence number 1 except that the reductase has one or more amino acid mutations containing an amino acid mutation in which 56 glycine is replaced with cysteine in the amino acid sequence represented by the sequence number 1 and has capability of reducing a substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
