Disclosed are a broadband wavelength swept light source system and an apparatus applying the same. The disclosed broadband wavelength swept light source system includes a plurality of gain media which emit light with different central wavelengths by using the induction emission and amplification of the light, a first light generator which connects the gain media in parallel and resonates the light emitted from the gain media, a wavelength swept filter part which sweeps the wavelength of the light emitted from the gain media and supplements an spectrometric optical path, a second light generator which feeds back the wavelength swept light from the wavelength swept filter part to the gain media by serially connecting the first light generator to the wavelength swept filter part, a combination unit which outputs one wavelength swept light by combining a plurality of the wavelength swept light generated by the gain media, and a control unit which controls a current applied to each of the gain media.
