<p>A tool for opening a locked door uses a range of quickly releasable straight and angled connecting or extension rods C2, C3, B10 to which a variety of quick release attachments may be connected as required. The attachments may include a camera B8, a torch B5, a flexible drive A4 with a chuck head A2, a tool head (UT01 fig. 16) with pins (J5 fig. 17), a snib lifting tool D2, a loop of rubber covered steel cable E3, E4, star heads E6, E7 or a snare head E1, E2. Tool head A9 may be adjustable relative to rods C2, C3, B10 by means or bracket B12, threaded stud A7 and wing nuts B13. The tool may allow a locksmith to gain permitted entry by manipulating numerous security locking systems on the inside of a building whilst working from the outside of the building, including by removing screws, unlocking/removing locks, opening windows, snaring, grabbing, hooking, lassoing, lifting, pulling, pushing & removing or manipulating handles, security escutcheons, code locks. The tool also enables extraction of keys or other small items that are on the inside of the door or building. The tool may be operated through a letter box, window or fanlight alternatively a small hole may be bored.</p> |
