PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve boosting efficiency and the like of a bootstrap circuit in a circuit device which boosts a power supply potential by the bootstrap circuit and supplies the bootstrapped power supply potential to a word line driver.SOLUTION: A circuit device includes: a first P channel transistor including the source and drain connected between a first node and a second node; a second P channel transistor including the source and drain connected between the second node and a third node and a back gate connected to the second node; and a bootstrap circuit which is connected to the third node and generates a second power supply potential to be supplied to a source of a P channel transistor of a word line driver by raising a first power supply potential supplied from the first node to the third node via the second node. A third power supply potential is supplied from the second node to a back gate of the P channel transistor of the word line driver.
