<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor that can be manufactured easily and driven at low consumption current, by decreasing the step angle of a rotor while using approximately cylindrical rotor magnet.SOLUTION: A stepping motor 100 comprises: a rotor 5 having a rotor magnet 50 in which two poles are magnetized in a radial direction; a stator 1 having a stator body 10 having a rotor receiving part 14 for receiving the rotor 5, and also having three magnetic poles 15 arranged along the outer circumference of the rotor 5, and a coil 22 provided by being magnetically connected to the stator body 10; a rotor-side recessed part 52 and a stator-side recessed part 16 provided every 30 degrees smaller than an angle obtained by dividing one circumference by the product of the number of magnetized poles of the rotor 5 and the number of magnetic poles of the stator 1; and a driving pulse supply circuit 31 by which a drive pulse for rotating the rotor 5 by 30 degrees is applied to the coil 22.</p> |
