<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor which can be downsized while securing a movable range in each of two-axial directions.SOLUTION: A linear motor drives an armature in an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction with respect to a field, and includes: a yoke 11A having a main surface 11Aa parallel to the X-axis and the Y-axis; a yoke 11B having a main surface 11Ba that is opposite the main surface 11Aa and is parallel to the X-axis and Y-axis; a field system which has a plurality of X-axis magnets 12 on the main surface 11Aa arranged in parallel along the X-axis and a plurality of Y-axis magnets 13 on the main surface 11Ba arranged in parallel along the Y-axis; a magnetic flux separating plate 30 which is placed between the main surface 11Aa and main surface 11Ba and separates magnetic fluxes Bx, By formed by the X-axis magnet 12 and the Y-axis magnet 13; and the armature which is provided with an X-axis movement coil 21 placed between the main surface 11Aa and the magnetic flux separation plate 30 and a Y-axis movement coil 22 placed between the main surface 11Ba and the magnetic flux separation plate 30.</p> |
