The printing method involves providing a stage during which color pixels are printed in one pass along oblique lines in relation to a physical medium (20). The pixels of an oblique line are all in the same color selected from a number of colors and different from used previous oblique line to generate a matrix of horizontal lines comprising pixels each in the colors successively in a selected order. The horizontal line other than the first one consists of a first pixel that is identical to the second pixel of the previous horizontal line.
