<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of exuding copper efficiently from copper sulfide containing copper pyrite under conditions general-purpose at a practical operation level.SOLUTION: A method of exuding copper from copper sulfide ore uses an exudation solution prepared by adding trace amounts of nitrite ion to an acidic solution containing iodide ion and nitrate ion. Preferably, the pH of the exudation solution is kept below 1.5; the exudation solution contains 10 g/L or more nitrate ion; nitrite ion contained in the exudation solution is 2 mg or more to 1 g of copper pyrite; the exudation solution is originated from the liquid after niter exudation(caliche); and the oxidation-reduction potential to a standard hydrogen electrode at 25°C in the exudation solution is kept above 710 mV during an exudation treatment.</p> |
