<p>A packaging article (1) comprising a container (10) and a lid (20) arranged to be mounted on the container to seal the contents of the container. Said container (10) defining a volume with an opening (12) and a first outwardly protruding circumferential flange (14) arranged around the periphery of the opening, and said lid (20) comprising a central portion (21) and a rim portion (22) arranged at the periphery of the central portion with an upper edge (22a) of the rim portion being raised above said central portion, said rim portion comprising a first downwardly facing U-shaped circumferential groove (26) arranged to accommodate the first outwardly protruding circumferential flange (14) of the container when the lid is mounted on the container. The container further comprises a second outwardly protruding circumferential flange (15), said second outwardly protruding circumferential flange being arranged around the periphery of the opening and inside the first outwardly protruding circumferential flange (14) and the rim portion (22) of the lid further comprises a second downwardly facing U-shaped circumferential groove (27) arranged to accommodate the second outwardly protruding circumferential flange (15) when the lid is mounted on the container, said second downwardly facing U shaped circumferential groove (27) being arranged on the inside of the first downwardly facing U shaped circumferential groove (26) of the rim portion of the lid.
