PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PSA type gas separation device constituted to comprise an air supply unit composed of a plurality of compressors, and a PSA unit, so that the consumption of useless energy may be suppressed for energy conservation.SOLUTION: In the case where the number of troubled compressors or the capacity of the troubled compressors exceeds a predetermined value, this problem is solved by stopping the entirety of an apparatus. Even in the case where some of the compressors is troubled, but in the case the number does not satisfy the threshold value, the supply of the product gas can be continued, and the energy for running the device of the case, in which the performance of the product gas decreases, is not wasted but can acquire an energy conservation effect. |
