PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user-friendliness.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a water tub 4 which installs a pulsator 11 and a washing and dewatering tub 10 inside in a rotatable manner; lid opening/closing detection means 36 for detecting the opening/closing of a lid 26; and water tub inclining means 32 which inclines the water tub 4 when opening of the lid 26 is detected, and which uprights the water tub 4 when closing of the lid 26 is detected, or during an operation. When a user opens the lid 26 for putting in/taking out a washing object 23, the water tub 4 inclines, therefore, the user can see a bottom part front 28 of the washing and dewatering tub 10, which was not seen from a predetermined position before, without looking inside, so that putting in/taking out of the washing object 23 is facilitated. |
