The purpose of the present invention is to provide a battery control system capable of setting an appropriate current limit value in accordance with an actual use condition of a battery system. The battery control system (100) comprises: a current detection unit (130) for detecting the current flowing through a unit battery (111); a temperature detection unit (125) for detecting the temperature of the unit battery (111); and a control unit (150) for, based on the history of the current and temperature of the unit battery (111) in a predetermined time window, performing limit control to limit the current of the unit battery (111) so that a current value does not exceed a current limit value. When a temperature change in the predetermined time window is within a predetermined range, the control unit (150) limits the current by a preset first current limit value. When the temperature change in the predetermined time window is outside the predetermined range, the control unit (150) changes the setting from the first current limit value to a different second current limit value and limits the current by the second current limit value set after the setting is changed. |
