<p>A weighing unit having a water-resistant structure is provided that is capable of completely addressing the problem of the conventional danger of a thin rubber diaphragm breaking if cleaning using a brush, cleaning at a high-temperature and high-pressure, or the like, is carried out. A weighing unit (1) for measuring the load on an external load bearing part, said weighing unit being provided with a load cell (10) disposed inside the weighing unit, a coupling part (14) that is inserted through a through-hole (4) formed in an external wall disposed between the load bearing part and the load cell and transfers the load on the external load bearing part to the load cell, and a sealing part (20) for sealing the space between the coupling part and the through-hole. Further, the sealing unit is provided with a hollow rigid sleeve (21) through which the coupling part is inserted, a first metal thin film (23) for sealing the space between the periphery of the opening (22a) at one end of the rigid sleeve and the periphery of the through hole, and a second metal thin film (24) for sealing the space between the periphery of the opening (22b) at the other end of the rigid sleeve and the periphery of the coupling part.</p> |
