PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compensation optical system and an optical device which can correct wavefront phase aberration with higher accuracy compared to the prior arts and have a wider correction range than the prior arts regardless of a distance between an observation object and a fluctuation layer or a size of the observation object.SOLUTION: The compensation optical system includes: a wavefront phase modulator that corrects aberration of incident light and emits the corrected light; and an imaging-conjugate position adjusting mechanism that flexibly adjusts a position of a plane, within a sample, to be imaging-conjugate with a fluctuation correction plane formed by the wavefront phase modulator. The imaging-conjugate position adjusting mechanism adjusts the fluctuation correction plane to be imaging-conjugate with a fluctuation layer present in the sample. |
