PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that well-known power generation technologies are likely to be affected by the factors of climate and geography and hard to generate power favorable in quantity, quality and timing.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a seawater power generation system including a seawater processing apparatus, a precipitation apparatus, a separation apparatus and a power generation apparatus. The seawater processing apparatus obtains seawater and concentrates the seawater to obtain concentrated seawater. The precipitation apparatus heats the concentrated seawater to form a metal oxide. The separation apparatus heats the metal oxide to reduce the metal oxide into a metal. The power generation apparatus uses the metal as a first electrode and includes a second electrode and an electrolyte in contact with the first electrode and the second electrode. Thereby, the first electrode is continuously formed using the seawater, the first electrode and the second electrode perform an electrochemical reaction with the electrolyte, respectively, to form a potential difference between the first and second electrodes and generate electric power. |
