The information processing apparatus comprises: a first processing section that acquires, from a first one of a plurality of processing units, both first information, which indicates whether the first processing unit has a switching function, and second information indicating whether a logical network has been set for a plurality of ports in the first processing unit; and a second processing section that uses at least the first and second information to determine whether to use the plurality of ports in the first processing unit and that transmits, to the first processing unit, information indicating that it is possible or impossible to use the plurality of ports. |
