<p>A portable air filter unit utilises a rotating belt 4 which may have transverse fin structures, driven by an electric motor 1, and transporting water or a liquid solution on its surface from a reservoir 8. The filter unit may augment the airflow with the use of fans 5, and may reduce the airflow through the unit with the use of baffles 2. The rotating belt may be cleaned by physical brushes or by ultrasonic devices 7. The filter unit may include additional filters 11 before or after the rotating belt and may also be fitted with electrically powered light frequency radiation devices.</p> |
