<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange device for a refrigerator-freezer capable of achieving both high defrosting efficiency and reduction in power consumption.SOLUTION: A heat exchange device 10 for a refrigerator-freezer includes: a fin and tube type cooler 2 in which a plurality of fin groups comprising a plurality of pieces of fins 12 are disposed in a vertical direction for configuring a plurality of stages of fin groups, and in which a refrigerant tube 14 is assembled in a meandering form so as to penetrate each stage of the fin groups sequentially; a defrosting heater 4 arranged below that; and a heater cover 6 arranged between the fin and tube type cooler 2 and the defrosting heater 4. Furthermore, end plates 8, 8 for protecting the fins of each fin group are provided so as to be located on both left and right sides of each fin group of the fin and tube type cooler 2. The heater cover 6 and the end plates 8, 8 are configured by one piece of metal plate material.</p> |
