PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order system which allows even a user who is not familiar with an information apparatus such as the elderly to acquire desired information and easily place an order.SOLUTION: In an order system 100, a terminal 2 comprising an information reading device 1 for reading a paper medium 4 on which a commodity number is printed is connected to a server 3 for recording the commodity number and commodity information through a network 8. The terminal 2 includes: commodity identification information transmission means for transmitting a commodity number which is read by the information reading device 1 to the server 3; and response means for receiving order progress information on the progress of an order for a commodity corresponding to the commodity number from the server 3 to perform voice output, and accepting a voice input for response information corresponding to the order progress information to transmit the information to the server 3. The server 3 includes: commodity identification information reception means for receiving a commodity number from the terminal 2; order progress information transmission means for transmitting order progress information to the terminal 2; and response information reception means for receiving response information.
