<p>Disclosed is a method for sorting a steel product. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for sorting a steel product comprises: a step of monitoring the immersion depth of an immersion nozzle vertically moving to change the immersion depth of molten metal injected inside a mold of a continuous casting machine; a step of calculating an immersion index which is a relative value of the immersion depth with respect to the distance to the mold surface from the upper end of an electromagnetic brake (EMBR) arranged outside the mold; a step of comparing the immersion index with the predetermined lower and upper values; and a step of determining the quality grade of a steel product manufactured by the continuous casting machine according to the comparison result between the lower and upper values and the immersion index.</p> |
