A level of specificity at which to prompt the user to provide a portion of the information is selected. The user is prompted to provide the portion of the information at the level of specificity. A progress of the user toward accomplishing the goal is determined based on the portion of the information. |

a processor-implemented module configured to: determine a goal of a user, the goal pertaining to health of the user; identify information to collect to determine a progress of the user toward accomplishing the goal of the user; select a level of specificity at which to prompt the user to provide a portion of the information; prompt the user to provide the portion of the information at the level of specificity; and determine a progress of the user toward accomplishing the goal based on the portion of the information. |
