<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a vibration amount of a rope as low as possible when vibration of the rope of the elevator may become large during earthquake or gale.SOLUTION: The rope vibration restraint of the invention comprises: a hitch plate 22 to which plural shackle rods 25 for fixing ends of plural wire ropes 14 respectively are attached; and a hitch plate rotation mechanism for rotating the hitch plate 22 by a predetermined angle, and changing the characteristic frequency of the wire ropes 14 by applying twisting to the wire ropes 14.</p> |
