<p>A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel employed in an LCD device includes an array substrate and an opposite substrate. The array substrate includes a pixel electrode formed in a pixel area including a first sub-pixel area and a second sub-pixel area. The opposite substrate is spaced apart from the array substrate to receive a liquid crystal layer. The opposite substrate includes a first common electrode formed in correspondence with the pixel area, and a second common electrode being floated in correspondence with the second sub-pixel area to form a coupling capacitor.</p> |
