PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded article that has further improved sliding characteristics while utilizing excellent properties (for example, strength) possessed by an ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefin and to provide a resin composition that can give the molded article.SOLUTION: The polyolefin resin composition includes (A) and (B) as given below: (A) an ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefin having an intrinsic viscosity [&eegr;] of 10-40 dl/g as measured in a decalin solvent at 135°C and (B) a silylated polyolefin, a derivative thereof or a mixture of both of them produced by the reaction of a silicon-containing compound comprising a structural unit represented by formula (1) and a vinyl group-containing compound having a number average molecular weight of not less than 100 to not more than 500,000 as measured by the GPC method (provided that one produced by using both the silicon-containing compound having two or more SiH groups per molecule and the vinyl group-containing compound having 2.0 or more vinyl groups on average per molecule is excluded) Formula (1): -Si(R)H-Y- (in formula (1), Ris a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a hydrocarbon group; Yis O, S or NR(Ris a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group)). |
