PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling fan system and a communication apparatus capable of maintaining sufficient cooling capability, even if a controller of a fan unit breaks down.SOLUTION: The cooling fan system includes: one or more fan units 4 having a cooling fan 2 and a controller 3 which controls the cooling fan 2; a management unit 6 having a fan control part 5 which controls the controller 3 of the fan unit 4; and a circuit 8 directly connecting the management unit 6 and the cooling fan 2. The cooling fan 2 is configured to be directly controlled by the fan control part 5, and the fan control part 5 includes: an abnormality detection part 11 for detecting abnormality of the fan unit 4; and a forcible control part 14 which directly controls the cooling fan 2 when the abnormality detection part 11 detects abnormality of the fan unit 4 and forcibly controls the cooling fan 2 so as to be forcibly rotated at a revolution speed higher than that at normal time. |
