摘要 Disclosed is an electrode additive for a fuel cell and a synthesis method thereof. A synthesis method according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: producing a metal salt solution by dissolving metal salt in a solvent such as ethylene glycol; producing a carbon-metal salt suspension by distributing carbon in the metal salt solution; heating and cooling the carbon-metal salt suspension and then filtering out the carbon-supported metal powder; cleansing and drying the carbon-supported metal powder; and obtaining carbon-supported metal oxide powder by performing heat treatment on the carbon-supported metal powder at about 300-1000° C. by exposure to water vapor.
