Provided in the present invention is a monitor system for an excavator, which can effectively monitor a blind spot of an excavator operator or can output a navigation system on an excavator monitor using a user terminal. The monitor system for an excavator comprises: a cluster which communicates with an MCU in an excavator; a back side camera which provides back side images of the excavator for the cluster; and a communications interface which connects the cluster with a user terminal. In addition, the cluster displays by overlapping an image displayed on a monitor screen with the back side image according to a previously selected mode, or displays the screen of the user terminal on the monitor screen through mirror link.
