THE COMPOSITION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR NON PERMEABLE ASPHALT PAVEMENT USING NATURAL BITUMEN

The present invention relates to a method for water-impermeable asphalt pavement using natural asphalt and a composition thereof. More specifically, during a construction for asphalt pavement composed of a base course, a binder course, and a surface course, the binder course has a water-impermeable asphalt mixture where aggregates, sand, ground limestone, fillers, and mixture liquids, where 30 to 75 percent by weight of natural asphalt is mixed with polymer reformulated asphalt 100, are mixed at 170 to 220°C, and the water-impermeable asphalt mixture is laid on the binder course. The present invention provides the water-impermeable asphalt mixture having porosity less than 0-2 % and having a temperature of pavement laying during a laying work which is about 160 to 220°C in order to enable the construction without using a cooker and to achieve water-impermeability such as a Guss or a mastic asphalt. Accordingly, the method for water-impermeable asphalt pavement using natural asphalt and the composition thereof reduce 40% of construction periods and construction costs in order to have economical efficiency.
